My Story
Shamela Williams is the first Lady Pastor of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Orlando, FL. The proud parents of two beautiful children. Lady Williams was educated in the Dade County Public School System. Upon graduating from Miami Southridge Senior High, she continued her education at Bethune Cookman College. Her love for children and her desire to give back to others, led her to pursue a degree in Exceptional Student Education. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Varying Exceptionalities and Specific Learning Disabilities. She has been educating children in the school systems of Orange and Duval counties since 2002.
Being reared in the church, Lady Williams accepted Christ at an early age and was active in several activities, which included singing in the choir, ministering through dance, and plays just to name a few. Her passion for ministering to God’s people through dance allowed her to develop the first praise dance ministry at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Orlando, FL. in 2003. She is currently serving as the Special Events Coordinator of the Youth Ministry and Ministry leader of the W.I.S.E. (Women in the Savior’s Eyes) Ministry at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Nu Iota Omega Chapter, Maitland, FL. Devoted to the vision of the ministry and her God-given purpose; Lady Williams faithfully serves as her husband’s helpmate by assisting with a variety of duties to ensure that his God- given mandate to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ is carried out.
